Our Mission

Saint Francis Foundation's dedicated mission is the development of Saint Francis Memorial Hospital (shown right), San Francisco's leading non-sectarian community medical care center since 1905. The Foundation is the steward of over $80 million in endowment funds, representing the generosity of more than 4,000 donors. We are proud of our mission and of the Saint Francis family who make it possible. In the following pages, you will find a cross section of who we are, what we do, and how you too can become part of this vital community service.

Saint Francis Foundation is an IRS-certified 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations benefit only the Saint Francis Memorial Hospital and are fully tax-deductible in accordance with IRS regulations.

Saint Francis Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors who represent a dynamic cross-section of San Francisco and Bay-Area community and business leaders.

Saint Francis Memorial Hospital is a member of the Catholic Healthcare West family of healthcare facilities.
